Terms of use

Safety first: No cell is worth a traffic accident, someone's garden or a fenced-off area. Watch the road, not the screen; follow traffic rules and never enter private property without permission.

1. Parties and acceptance

These terms are an agreement between you and [ŞİRKET UNVANI] ("HexRun", "we") about your use of the HexRun mobile app and the hexrun.co website (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you accept these terms, the Community guidelines and the Privacy policy.

2. Account and age

• You must be at least 13 to use the Service. If your country sets a higher age, you need a parent's or guardian's consent below that age.
• One person, one account. You may not share, transfer or sell your account.
• You are responsible for keeping your account details accurate and your account secure.

3. The game

In HexRun you close loops by returning to your start point during a run, and take and hold cells on the map. Rules, constants and events are explained in the app; we may change them to keep the game balanced. Cells, power, badges and rankings are in-game indicators: they have no monetary value, create no right to any real land or property, and cannot be transferred.

4. Fair play

HexRun is played on foot only, running or walking. The following are not allowed:

• Passing off movement recorded in a car, on a motorbike, bicycle, scooter, skateboard, public transport or any other vehicle as a run.
• GPS spoofing, location-faking apps, editing recordings, or uploading someone else's run as your own.
• Multiple accounts, inflating power by passing cells back and forth with friends, or fixing duels in advance.
• Exploiting bugs, using automation or bots, or using the API without permission.

5. Anti-cheat and review

Every loop is automatically checked for pace and GPS consistency. A suspicious loop is marked "under review": your run and streak are saved and the map doesn't change until the review ends. If the loop is approved it is applied to the map; if rejected, the map stays as it was. GPS errors happen; a single rejected loop does not mean your account is sanctioned. You can add context with "Add info" in the app or contest a decision via support.

6. Safety and health

• Don't run into traffic, cross on red, or run on motorways or roads without a footpath. The game never comes before traffic rules.
• Don't enter private property, closed or restricted areas, military zones, railways or construction sites. If taking a cell means trespassing, that cell isn't yours.
• Stay aware of your surroundings; stop if you need to look at the screen. Be visible in the dark and run according to the weather and your own health.
• HexRun is not a health or medical service. If you have a health condition, consult a doctor before starting to exercise.
• Suggested routes are ideas only; we don't guarantee a route is safe, open or legal. Follow local rules and signs.

7. User content

Your username, team name and anything you share are your responsibility and must follow the Community guidelines. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display that content within the Service; the licence ends when you delete your account.

8. Third-party services

Sign in with Apple or Google, watch and app imports (Garmin, Coros, Suunto, Polar, Apple Health, Wear OS, Strava) and map tiles are subject to their own terms. We are not responsible for their outages or changes. If in-app purchases are offered, payment and refunds follow the Apple App Store or Google Play terms.

9. Intellectual property

The HexRun name, logo, hex icon, design and software belong to us or our licensors. You may use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes; this gives no right to copy, reverse-engineer or redistribute it. For press use, see the press kit.

10. Suspension and termination

• If you break these terms or the Community guidelines, depending on severity we may warn you, revert specific loops or cells, remove you from rankings, suspend your account temporarily or close it permanently.
• Serious or repeated cheating, harassment of other players and behaviour that endangers others are grounds for permanent closure.
• We tell you the decision and the reason; you can appeal via support.
• You can close your account at any time from Profile › Settings › Delete account (details).

11. Liability

We run the Service with care, but we can't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that GPS and map data are always accurate. You are responsible for your decisions while running, your behaviour in traffic and where you go. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages or in-game losses (cells, power, rankings). This does not limit liability for intent or gross negligence, for injury to life or health, or any rights you have under Turkish Consumer Protection Law No. 6502 or mandatory consumer law in your country.

12. Changes

We may update these terms and will announce significant changes in the app at least 15 days before they take effect. If you keep using the Service after a change, you accept the new terms; if you don't, you can delete your account.

13. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. [YETKİLİ MAHKEME / İCRA DAİRELERİ] have jurisdiction. Consumers may apply to consumer arbitration committees within the statutory monetary limits and to consumer courts where they live; consumers in the EU keep the protection of the mandatory laws of their country.
